With a simple click of a mouse button, I've decided to take the plunge into the blogosphere.

My name is David Beall (pronounced Bell, hence the name of the Blog). I hope to add another insight from "Fly-Over Country" -- in the eyes of the MSM and elites of our nation, that vast wasteland found somewhere between the New York-Boston corridor and the sophisticated West Coast. While currently paying the bills working as an Airport Manager, I had another life working for nearly 10 years as a correspondent, political and business reporter and editor for several newspapers in Indiana. I hope I can call up the skills I gained from that experience to offer provocative and entertaining expositions of the key issues of the day. I also encourage everyone (anyone?) who reads my posts to offer their comments and feedback. Our democracy works best when ideas and opinions are voiced and debated in a reasonable fashion.
